Gymnastics for Foundation to Year 2 students

Looking for a fun and engaging way to introduce your students in Foundation to Year 2 to the exciting world of gymnastics?

Providing students, the opportunity to link movements together, in a safe and inclusive environment. Allows for numerous fundamental motor skills to be built, refined and developed.

Proactivity Gymnastics Programs align with the Victorian Curriculum.

Gymnastics Program Overview

Proactivity’s certified Gymnastics Instructors lead each session with a range of activities designed to help students develop their gymnastics skills, including Tumbling, Balance Beam, Vault, and Parallel Bars.

Curriculum Standards met:

Moving the body

  • Perform fundamental movement skills in different movement situations in indoor, outdoor and aquatic settings (VCHPEM080)
  • Construct and perform imaginative and original movement sequences in response to stimuli (VCHPEM081)
  • Create and participate in games (VCHPEM082)

Learning through movement

  • Use strategies to work in group situations when participating in physical activities (VCHPEM085)
  • Propose a range of alternatives and test their effectiveness when solving movement challenges (VCHPEM086)
  • Identify rules and fair play when creating and participating in physical activities (VCHPEM087)

Our program focuses on helping students develop their flexibility, strength, coordination, and balance through a range of fun and challenging gymnastics activities.

Led by expert coaches, our Gymnastics Level 1 program is designed to help students build their confidence, enhance their physical literacy, and develop their love for gymnastics.
