Fitness based programs for Secondary School Years 7 to 8 students

Designed with the unique needs of young teenagers in mind, our Level Up Fitness program will help your students build strength, endurance, and confidence while having fun.

Proactivity Level Up Fitness Programs align with the Victorian Curriculum.

Level Up Fitness Program Overview

Our Level Up Fitness programs develop students’ understanding and enjoyment of exercise through group activities and is suitable for all abilities. 

Key Focus Points:

  • Participate in physical activities that develop health-related and skill-related fitness components, and create and monitor personal fitness plans.
  • Core conditioning and tailor exercise offerings available.

  • Use feedback to improve body control and coordination when performing specialised movement skills (VCHPEM133)
  • Compose and perform movement sequences for specific purposes in a variety of contexts (VCHPEM134)

Understanding movement

  • Participate in physical activities that develop health-related and skill-related fitness components, and create and monitor personal fitness plans (VCHPEM136)

Learning through movement

  • Evaluate and justify reasons for decisions and choices of action when solving movement challenges (VCHPEM140)

The Arts: Dance

Structure dances using choreographic devices and form. Rehearse and perform focusing on technical and expressive skills appropriate to style and/or choreographic intent.
